Mehmood Khan, MD

Dr. Mehmood Khan is a physician, researcher, and global leader in innovation with extensive experience across pharmaceutical, business, and non-profit. He is currently CEO of Hevolution Foundation, the world’s largest philanthropic funder of healthspan science. Previously, he was President of Takeda’s Global R&D Center, leading worldwide drug development programs, and also served as Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer of Global R&D at PepsiCo. Earlier in his career, he was a faculty member at the Mayo Clinic and Mayo Medical School, and led programs in endocrinology, diabetes, and nutrition for the Hennepin County Medical Center and University of Minnesota.
Dr. Khan holds a medical degree from the University of Liverpool Medical School and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, the American College of Endocrinology, and an Elected Fellow of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Oxford. As Chairman of the Board at DVLP Medicines, he brings visionary leadership and a patient-first mission to accelerate transformative therapies.
